The mix is extruded into pellet form. Greenview Grass Seed Accelerator is a One-Step Fertilizer and Seeding Mulch that creates ideal growing conditions for grass seed with the proper mix of protection, moisture and nutrients. When watered, the pellets expand and hold up to four times their weight in water, while the polymer hold moisture, allowing for less watering. Does not contain grass seed - a seed that will match the existing lawn should be selected. The seed should be applied to the soil first, then spread Greenview Grass Seed Accelerator on top. Greenview Grass Seed Accelerator is totally biodegradable, and unlike straw or burlap, will break down into the soil as the grass grows without the need to remove it.
